At J Vod Creative, I believe art should be welcoming, inspiring, and transformative. Through fine art photography, immersive paint experiences, and artistic event services, the J Vod Creative Studio is a space where people feel confident, creative, and completely themselves.
As a community-driven creative hub in the Greater Madison area, I bring photography and painting together, inviting clients not only to be part of art, but to create it. Whether in front of the lens or behind a brush, the experience goes beyond the finished photos or paintings. It leaves people feeling confident, inspired, and creatively recharged.
Through my Paint It Forward program, I want to extend that creativity beyond the studio walls, partnering with organizations to raise funds and support meaningful local causes. Because when art brings people together, it has the power to strengthen an entire community.
Meet Your Creative Guide
Hey, I’m Jess! Photographer, painter, and creative heart behind J Vod Creative. I have a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts: Painting, and a master's degree in Educational Policy. While in college, I worked at my uncle’s Old Time Portraits studio, where I discovered my love for costumed photography. From there, I began organizing creative shoots with friends—first with vintage looks, then expanding into concept and cosplay photography. Those sessions developed into the signature niche of my work.
As my photography business grew, I also started to get requests to host painting parties because of my art background. I realized I didn’t have to choose between photography and painting. I could combine both to give local community members fun and memorable creative experiences right in their backyard.
