Christmas mini sessions at J Vod Creative are designed to feel like more than a quick holiday photo. Step into a festive set, snuggle up with the people you love, and let the kids get swept up in a little Christmas magic while I capture the moments in between.
Whether you're updating the family Christmas card, documenting another year of growing kids, or simply want photographs that feel like the season, these short sessions are relaxed, playful and designed to create images you'll actually want to keep.

How it works
FROM BOOKING TO CHRISTMAS CARD
1. Choose your session.
Select your Christmas set, date and available time. A $49 deposit reserves your spot.
2. Get ready for Christmas.
You'll receive everything you need to know before your session, including location details and tips for getting photo-ready.
3. Come make some magic.
We'll keep things moving, relaxed and fun while capturing a mix of posed portraits and natural moments.
4. Choose your favorites.
After your session, you'll receive a private gallery to select your five included portraits, with the option to purchase more.
5. Enjoy your photographs.
Your selected images will be professionally finished and delivered digitally, ready for Christmas cards, gifts, prints and sharing.
What to Wear
Think coordinated, not identical. Rich greens, burgundy, cream, warm neutrals, plaids and subtle holiday details photograph beautifully. Avoid large logos and very busy patterns that compete with the set.
This set also easily leans into whimsy - bring your wizard attire and transform the Holiday Express into the Hogwarts Express at Platform 9 3/4 (robes and accessories provided).

Where are Christmas minis held?
At the J Vod Creative studio in downtown Sauk City, Wisconsin. 827 Water Street, located upstairs. -
How long is the session?
Christmas minis are approximately 10-15 minutes. Please arrive ready to photograph so we can make the most of your session time. If you are late, it will retract from your time. -
How many images are included?
Five professionally finished digital portraits are included. You'll choose your favorites from your gallery, with additional images available for $20 each or the option to upgrade to the full gallery. -
Can our whole family participate?
Yes. Christmas minis are great for immediate families, siblings, couples and grandparents. For particularly large or extended families, contact me before booking so we can determine whether a longer session would work better. -
Can I bring my pet?
Yes! Please contact me before the session to coordinate. -
When will we receive our photos?
You will receive your proof gallery within 5-7 days. Once you select your finalimages you will recieve them within 24 hours. -
What happens if my child doesn't cooperate?
I work hard to help children feel comfortable and themselves quickly, with simple prompts and natural interactions. A perfect session is not guaranteed, but we will do our best! -
What if we're late?
Because minis are scheduled back-to-back, arriving late reduces available photography time. -
Is the deposit refundable?
The $49 deposit is non-refundable. -
Can we purchase prints?
Yes! Prints up to 8x10 are printed in-house. Other sizes and products will be available in your digital gallery store, or you can use your favorite printing company.
